Children's Ministry
Sunday Club
We meet on Sunday between 10:20am and 11:45am in the church hall and welcome primary school
aged children from 4 to 11. We have attendees from many of the local primary schools, so you may
already know someone from your school who comes to Sunday Club already.
Some of our older children stay on to become helpers.
At present we are following the lessons that are being preached that week in church. To support the
children’s learning, we incorporate fun games, crafts, and activities.
We have also used “Click”, “On the Way” and “In Sight” materials to take us through the Old and New Testaments covering all aspects of our Christian faith.
We are an integral part of St Paul’s church community and regularly take part in church services, including the monthly Family Worship service which is held on the second Sunday of each month. At this service we participate in plays, bible readings and prayers.
Many parents have commented that they have seen a noticeable increase in the confidence of the children who take part in these services.
Sunday Club is led by Gwen Wale and supported by a dedicated team of helpers.
Child Protection, Health and Safety, and GDPR protocols are in full operation. Gwen Wale is also Safeguarding Officer for St Paul’s church.
If you are interested in joining Sunday Club, please come along and see what we do on a Sunday !!
Our aim is to make sure every child can be themselves in a safe and welcoming environment. Our children's workers are appointed through interview only, are DBS checked and have first aid and safeguarding training.
We want the kids to have great fun whilst learning more about Jesus and meeting with Him.
See our
Sunday Service page to see which ages we cater for, and groups your child/children will be in.
